Meet the worthy successor to the original HMB® Battle Belt. This new generation takes into account all the field feedback submitted to us during the 4-year reign of the HMB® Battle Belt, which changed the daily work of so many professionals.

Rigidity, light weight, and maximum available modular space are the watchwords of the HMB® Battle Belt.

Skeleton

The rigid structure of the HMB²® Battle Belt is borrowed from the rigid structure of our HMB-R® Battle Belt designed for airborne operations (coming soon). Thanks to our signature pattern – originally created for the HMB-R® Battle Belt and used on the cummerbunds of the HPC-E® Plate Carrier – the structure has uniform rigidity along its entire length, with no break. This new signature pattern also lets you position the buckle wherever you like and stow the free ends.

Webbing and Buckle

The HMB²® Battle Belt has a “free float” design. The webbing connected to the buckle moves completely freely inside the rigid skeleton. The webbing used here is more abrasion-resistant than the webbing used in load-bearing applications.

The plastic buckle locks on each side: no more buckles loosening on their own. Plus, the user can trim the webbing, replace it, and set the desired free-end length, on each side.

For this second generation of the HMB® Battle Belt, we dropped the metal Cobra buckle because it isn’t necessary on a battle belt not intended for aviation use, let alone on a battle belt without the appropriate certifications.

Continuous Rigidity

Continuing our effort to reduce Velcro wherever it isn’t essential, continuous rigidity is achieved through a rigid extension of the skeleton that locks into the signature pattern.

The following measurements are maximum inner circumferences. There is no minimum, but the further you are from the maximum, the more the two ends overlap.

If your waist measurement is exactly the maximum, choose that size.

It is as follows:

X-SMALL : up to 77 cm (30.3 in)
SMALL : up to 89 cm (35 in)
MEDIUM : up to 101 cm (39.8 in)
LARGE : up to 113 cm (44.5 in)
X-LARGE : up to 125 cm (49.2 in)

To find your size, measure your waist at your pants’ belt loops, over your pants, WITH AN INNER BELT with a soft tape measure, neither too tight nor too loose. If you don’t have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string or paracord to go around your waist, then measure it.
