HILDR® Rifle Sling | HEXATAC x KHIMAIRA STRATEGY TACTICS
The HILDR® Rifle Sling is the result of the first collaboration between Khimaira Strategy Tactics and Hexatac.
It is a 2-point rifle sling optimized for long guns that are bulky and heavy. The HILDR® Rifle Sling is therefore particularly well suited to precision shooters of every specialty (Tiflu – scoped assault rifle marksman, THP – high-precision shooter, TE – sniper, TELD – long-range sniper, etc.) and even FM gunners – light machine gun.
The HILDR® Rifle Sling features a wide, thick, flexible padded section—ensuring optimal comfort, even when carrying weapons over 10 kg. There is no webbing inside the padded section, which allows the weight to be distributed over the entire surface of the pad.
On each side of the padded section, 25 mm (1 in) nylon webbing straps are attached with redundant, reinforced stitching. This stitching is done so that the body side is as smooth as possible so that the pad slides as easily as possible and doesn’t snag on your gear.
In most cases, these straps will be longer than you need on your HILDR® Rifle Sling : this is completely normal. If you don’t need all that length, you can simply shorten each strap with a pair of scissors and melt the ends with a lighter to keep them from fraying.
The HILDR® Rifle Sling has a steel quick-adjust system with no moving parts, which allows it to drastically reduce its bulk and, once again, ensure optimal comfort. The quick-adjust system of the HILDR® Rifle Sling is operated by a large rigid handle and its operation is intuitive : push the handle toward the weapon to tighten the sling and pull it outward to loosen it.
The quick-adjust system of the HILDR® Rifle Sling is a system with no free end : no webbing hangs loose when you tighten the sling.
The HILDR® Rifle Sling comes without metal attachments.
