HDP® Dump Pouch | HEXATAC
The HDP® Dump Pouch is a dump pouch for spent magazines, items collected during searches, picked-up brass, etc.
The HDP® Dump Pouch attaches inside a Velcro-compatible battle belt or onto a plate carrier, which lets you mount it under your magazine pouches to keep your reloads and your dump point in the same place.
Besides being space-saving on your battle belt, it lets you cut down on movement as well during manipulations, while keeping your eyes on your dump pouch, unlike traditional dump pouches, which are often relegated to a rear position for lack of space.
A grommet is provided for those who need to tether all of their gear (e.g., airborne missions, etc.), but note that when it is mounted on an HMB® Battle Belt, the shear strength exceeds 150 kg!
This Velcro attachment is foldable, and if you don’t have compatible gear, the HDP® Dump Pouch has 50 mm (2 in) belt loops for a more traditional mount.
The half-moon shape and the inserts made of rigid composite of the HDP® Dump Pouch provide better stability on the thigh. You can also add a cord around your thigh if you want to keep this pouch against your thigh at all times.
The opening of the HDP® Dump Pouch is partially stiffened with composite rods to keep it permanently open while still letting you adjust the size of the opening or roll it up when it’s not in use.
The HDP® Dump Pouch is closable with a Velcro-fastened Cordura tab, which can also be tucked away when not needed. Even closed or rolled up, this pouch won’t block access to the pouches mounted on your battle belt.
The interior features a large loop Velcro panel 10 cm (4 in) wide running the full height for attaching Velcro elastic inserts for an extra magazine, chem lights (Cyalumes), etc.
The bottom of the HDP® Dump Pouch is made of tough mesh that lets water and dust drain out.
