Developed and tested with and for operatorsTactical Belt (Hexatac's Modular Belt) meets the needs of modern fighters and sports shooters.
Composed of state-of-the-art materialsThis tactical belt is both ultra-rigid while maintaining a featherweight (285gr only in size XL!)
The HMB® Tactical Belt is made up of two belts a velcro underbelt (38mm) and a external belt (50mm).
The outer belt has a rigid skeleton in laser-cut composite that offers high rigidity to best support your equipment.
MOLLE (1/2 MOLLE) loops are made from solid of the skeleton and covered with a layer of finishing fabric: the pockets that will be fitted to the HMB® tactical belt using this system will be more stable on a tactical belt with soft fabric loops.
The design of the HMB® tactical belt means that it has MOLLE loops all around the wearer360°, regardless of whether it is at the upper or lower limit of the chosen size.
The free adjustment strand of the outer belt is inside of the belt, avoiding external clutter and allowing you to take full advantage of the MOLLE slots all around the belt.
Made from highly resistant materials normally used for climbing equipment** (webbing, AustriAlpin Cobra® buckles and even rope), tests of breaking load under realistic conditions* have shown that the AustriAlpin loop (Certified 15KN) would break before the slightest seam in the belt was disturbed at a load of approximately 1350kg (for realistic conditions with a load pulled on the D-ring perpendicular to the belt).
Velcro underbelt (female) is adjustable thanks to two separate systems to ensure the best possible adaptation to each and every customer. semi-rigid to enable an IWB/AIWB holster to be worn and to ensure that the trousers stay in place.
With a width of 38mmit will adapt to belt loops on all types of trousers tactical or civilian.
Made in Europe with assembly standards mli-spec and materials imported directly from the USA.
The Cobra® buckle is an original Cobra® buckle manufactured in Austria by AustriAlpin. This brand is the undisputed benchmark for load-bearing and climbing buckles.
Size Guide
The HMB® tactical belt size chart is based on your actual circumference and is as follows:
SMALL Size: 72.5cm - 86.5cm
MEDIUM size : 84,5cm - 98,5cm
LARGE Size : 96.5cm - 110.5cm
X-LARGE size : 108,5cm - 122,5cm
To measure your height, measure your waist size at the belt loops on your trousers, over your trousers, without a belt with a flexible tape measure, without being too tight or too loose. If you don't have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string or paracord to go round the edge and then measure it.
Good to know: At the highest setting, the two ends overlap by about 2cm to ensure continuity of rigidity.
Choosing a belt based on these measurements can be complicated. The following illustration will show you the number of MOLLE cells and enable you to compare with your current belt. Because of the thickness of the underbelt and the outer belt, it is normal for the length of the outer belt (shown below) to be about 3cm longer than your measured waist.
Assembly
What's included
- HMB® carrying belt
- HMB® underbelt
- Cobra® buckle protection
Video Presentation
Depending on the batch, the colour of the black carrier strap may vary slightly towards a bluish grey, although it remains within MilSpec tolerances due to the dyeing process used.
*Tests carried out in the laboratories of the Université de Technologie de Compiègne. Test results and technical data available on request.

There's nothing wrong with the outer waistband: it's solid, stays in place, is very rigid, nothing moves on it and it stays in place; you can't feel it. The only small fault concerns the underbelt, which is slightly too big, about 1 or 2 cm, even though I followed the size guide (I would have taken the next size down and the outer belt would have been too small); there is an additional adjustment system with some sort of soft loops on the underbelt, but it's much harder to put on and remove the G buckle on the underbelt.

The underbelt is a bit tricky to get used to, but once you've got the hang of it, it stays in place.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion!
We're really sorry you're disappointed with your belt. Allow me to shed some light on your comments!
1 / We apologise for the delay in responding to our after-sales service. A large number of requests at the moment and the delay is quite long.
2/ Concerning the colour of the webbing, the variation in shade is due to the webbing dyeing process, which allows some variations in shade from dark black to sometimes a bluish grey. We try as far as possible to sort and use the 'blackest' parts possible in our belts, but some batches do not allow us to discard all the straps with this grey/blue tint. We mainly use these straps in Multicam Black belts because it's the only colour in our range that includes grey/blue and so it's the colour for which this variation lends itself best within the range. It should also be noted that this colour variation is included in the 'MilSpec' prerogatives and despite various exchanges with the manufacturer, we don't have control over it.
However, it's true that the product page didn't indicate this possibility of variation and thanks to your comment, we've added it to avoid another customer being surprised if they received a belt with a strap of this colour.
3/ Indeed, you highlight a case that arises when the user's waist is in the lower part of the size range. This is an area for improvement that we've noted, and it's important to know that wear and tear in this area in no way affects the strength or function of the belt, as the buckle upstream effectively brakes the strap. This part of the strap can be cut or covered with velcro one wrap to avoid the inconvenience, so don't hesitate to contact us again and we'll be happy to guide you through the process.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
Have a nice day
Guillaume

Super belt. You can't feel it, it's very light and extremely robust, and the finish is exemplary. Really personalised and fine adjustments.
I'll have to wait and see, but I have no doubts about its longevity. To be recommended +++ thank you for this beautiful equipment

Excellent product. Beautiful, robust, versatile and comfortable. Perfectly suited to my needs. Very good finish. Possibly the best belt on the market and good value for money.

Excellent belt, even makes up for the shortcoming of the FERRO CONCEPT, in fact the adjustment strap fits inside the belt underneath it. This belt costs 50 euros less than its American counterpart, and is better made thanks to this system, and it's a French product to boot. I've had it for about 8 months now, and it hasn't moved at all, the Velcro holds extremely well, and the rigidity is impressive - once the accessories are attached, nothing moves. I highly recommend this product, especially to young FDOs or militiamen, as it will save them having to go through several belts like I did before finally finding the right one and not wanting to change.

I don't regret my purchase!

I've had it for 4 months now and it's a real pleasure! It's so comfortable, adjusts perfectly to the waist and, above all, with the Velcro system on the underbelt, it doesn't move at all. Even with a fully loaded belt, the weight is much less noticeable than with a normal belt. Thanks Hexatac!

Superb quality belt, good grip on the underbelt, nickel soft system, good size, and looks very solid over time.

Superb belt!
Comfortable, rigid, solid. Nothing better tried so far!
florian lopez (verified owner) –
Great belt, I've had it for a while now and it's all good, doesn't lose any rigidity.
It is well designed and can handle a heavy load perfectly.
Go for it with your eyes closed!

Great equipment, very practical system, light and comfortable belt
I recommend ++.

Initially fitted with a Brokos, it's night and day. The HMB Belt is super comfortable, stiff but just right. Once fitted, the accessories don't move. A not inconsiderable plus is the underbelt, which closes with a buckle, preserving the Velcro fasteners. It's supplied with the belt.
In short, this is a top-of-the-range belt that makes a very good investment.

Quality belt, top-quality padding or Velcro fastening, quality materials.
Design que j’adore.
Practical belt loops.

Thank you for your opinion!
Regarding the underbelt, have you used the MOLLE-like loops to move the G-shaped buckle? You can download the instructions for use from this page.
The underbelt has a wider range of adjustment (it can be worn both smaller and larger than the carrying belt).
