Following numerous requests, we are bringing back our famous HMB® Battle Belt in a revised and improved version: the HMB CLASSIC® Battle Belt available only in Black and Multicam.
It keeps all the features of the first generation while correcting a few points reported to us thanks to the thousands of battle belts sold.
The window the free end passes through has been redesigned, the internal Velcro changed, and the buckle updated!
Developed and tested with and for operators, the HMB® Tactical Belt (Hexatac’s Modular Belt) meets the needs of modern warfighters and sport shooters.
Made of cutting-edge materials, this tactical belt is ultra-rigid while remaining featherlight.
The outer belt has a rigid skeleton made of laser-cut composite that provides high rigidity to best support your gear.
The MOLLE loops (1/2 MOLLE) are cut directly into the body of the skeleton and covered with a layer of finishing fabric: pouches mounted on the HMB® tactical belt with this system will be more stable than on a tactical belt with soft fabric loops.
The design of the HMB® tactical belt gives you MOLLE loops all the way around the wearer, a full 360°, whether the wearer is at the top or the bottom of the chosen size range.
Also, the adjustment free end of the outer belt is located on the inside of the belt, which avoids bulk on the outside and lets you take full advantage of the MOLLE slots all the way around the belt.
Made in Europe to assembly standards that are mil-spec and with materials imported directly from the USA.
The Cobra® buckle is an Original Cobra® buckle made in Austria by AustriAlpin. This brand is the undisputed benchmark for load-bearing and climbing buckles. (ATTENTION: depending on incoming stock, the “D-RING” may be black or metal-colored)
Size Guide
The size chart for the HMB® tactical belt is based on your actual waist size and is as follows:
SMALL : 72.5 cm – 86.5 cm (28.5–34.1 in)
MEDIUM : 84.5 cm – 98.5 cm (33.3–38.8 in)
LARGE : 96.5 cm – 110.5 cm (38–43.5 in)
X-LARGE : 108.5 cm – 122.5 cm (42.7–48.2 in)
To find your size, measure your waist at your pants’ belt loops, over your pants, without a belt with a soft tape measure, neither too tight nor too loose. If you don’t have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string or paracord to go around your waist, then measure it.
Important: If your measured waist is within 1 cm (0.4 in) of the maximum for the chosen size, we recommend going one size up, which will give you more room for gear with Velcro attachments and belt loops.
Good to know: at the largest setting, the two ends overlap by about 2 cm (0.8 in) to maintain continuous rigidity.
Choosing a belt with only these measurements to go on can be tricky. The following illustration shows the number of MOLLE cells so you can compare it with your current belt. Because of the thickness of the inner belt and the outer belt, it is normal for the length of the outer belt (illustrated below) to exceed your measured waist by about 3 cm (1.2 in).

I’ve been using the HMB Classic for a few weeks.
[...]Very comfortable, lightweight, and seems very tough (we’ll see over the long term, of course).
The MOLLE is everywhere, including the front, which is a big plus. The MOLLE loops also seem very solid.
The only thing is that adjusting the free end can be a bit tedious if gear is already mounted on the belt, but nothing insurmountable. Highly recommend!
