A classic, updated! The HPC²® Plate Carrier is the true successor to our very first plate carrier: the HPC®.
We kept all the hallmarks that made the first generation a success and brought it into 2025: Modularity, Compatibility, and Durability.

Exterior

Front

No laser cut on this new HPC²® plate carrier: rugged yet lightweight MOLLE loops, with laminate where they are backed with Velcro.

The front features a large admin pouch, 18 cm (7 in) tall and 25 cm (10 in) at its widest, closed with a waterproof zipper so you can slip in your small gear, cards, and more. It has an LVMS® matrix that lets you anchor gear (knife, pen, whistle, etc.) and insert an LVMS® modular card (coming soon).

The front consists of two sections: the upper “admin” section and the lower section for load carriage.

The “admin” section of the HPC²® Plate Carrier lets you attach an EUD carrier or an admin pouch. On the sides, you’ll find dedicated anchor points for QASM buckles and horizontal loops that can be used to mount a PTT.

The lower section is fully covered with loop Velcro and a MOLLE grid made of laminated webbing. This lets you run MOLLE pouches directly if you don’t need a modular chassis, and it also ensures compatibility with our AYCE® Modular Chassis as well as front panels such as Unobtainium Gear®, Crye Precision®, etc.

On the sides of this lower section, the HPC²® plate carrier accepts ROC 40 or 80-type quick-release buckles (not included).

Back

The back plate bag of the HPC²® Plate Carrier is almost identical to the first generation, except that the upper section is now covered with loop Velcro for attaching large-format back ID patches. We also added side zippers compatible with the Crye Precision® (size medium), Tasmanian Tiger®, Direct Action®, etc. formats.

The closure flap of the back plate bag has been redesigned to keep it from gaping at the sides where the cummerbunds attach.

The HPC²® plate carrier is compatible with standard Velcro-attached or “skeleton” cummerbunds. The guide loops on the “skeleton” anchor points have been stiffened for better vertical stability.

Interior

The interior of the HPC²® Plate Carrier is made of velour laminate, which lets you attach Comfort Pads or pair it with our Soft Armor Insert Covers.

Inside the front plate bag, you can anchor Crye Precision® AirLite®-style cummerbunds and, of course, the HPC²® Structural Cummerbunds, which are also compatible with many other brands.

Features

The shoulder straps are fully removable, which lets you change the buckles connecting the shoulder straps to the front plate bag of your HPC® Plate Carrier. You can use any buckle that fits 25 mm (1 in) webbing, from the standard ITW buckle to an Austri Alpin quick-release buckle, including metal rings.

Adjustable Shoulder Spacing. With the HPC EVOLVE® Plate Carrier, you can adjust the spacing of the shoulder straps to suit your build, or, if you wish, to wear it over a soft armor package, etc. Simply remove the shoulder strap anchors and reinstall them in the right position, the same way you would weave MOLLE. The adjustment is made inside the plate bag, and we recommend removing your armor from the front plate bag for easier access.

Permanent Velcro Fanny Pack Mounting. You can mount a Velcro fanny pack permanently on the HPC® Plate Carrier. A permanent mount has several advantages: you don’t have to remove the fanny pack every time you take off the plate carrier or the front pouch, and it shifts the center of gravity for better comfort, especially when sprinting and in a crouched position. This mounting is compatible with the standard orientation of Velcro fanny packs (loop on the front, hook on the body side), but thanks to our proprietary closure, the hook Velcro, which tends to wear out combat shirts prematurely, will never come into contact with them.

Cummerbund compatibility. The HPC²® plate carrier is compatible with cummerbunds that anchor with Velcro (front and back), as well as 2- or 3-row “skeleton”-type anchors, and front-anchored quick-release buckles such as ROC40, ROC80, and others.
