THE DBA SB-001™ COVERT BODY ARMOR VEST

A first-generation concealable body armor vest, designed to be worn completely hidden under clothing. The SB-001™ Covert combines ballistic, stab, and needle protection in a single ultra-thin 5 mm (0.2 in) platform, made entirely in the Netherlands.

CERTIFIED TRIPLE PROTECTION: BULLETS, BLADES, NEEDLES

A 3-in-1 vest meets the operational need to cover multiple threats with a single piece of gear. The SB-001™ Covert applies this approach in a flexible design that is easy to wear every day, with no unwanted stiffness or visible bulk.

Ballistic and needle testing was carried out at the independent laboratory TNO (Netherlands), a leading defense research institute, which led to an official VPAM certification. Blade resistance was verified to the NIJ 0115.00 Level E2 standard by the accredited US laboratory Element, using S1 and P1A blades.

DESIGNED FOR TOTAL CONCEALMENT

The SB-001™ Covert closely follows the contours of the body. Its low-profile design lets you wear it under a shirt, T-shirt, or jacket with no visible bulk or plate printing. Full front, back and side coverage ensures there are no weak spots, whereas most concealable vests on the market leave openings at the sides.

OUTLAST® PCM TECHNOLOGY

Unlike fabrics that simply wick away sweat, Outlast® actively stores and releases body heat according to your activity level and the ambient temperature. In practice, the vest can be worn for 12 to 14 hours straight, without overheating in summer or feeling cold in winter. A decisive operational advantage on long surveillance, escort, or extended tactical intervention missions.

ULTRASONIC SEALING & 7-YEAR WARRANTY

The soft panels are encased in a TPU cover and sealed by ultrasonic welding. The result: a complete waterproof seal that protects the ballistic fibers from moisture, the leading cause of soft armor degradation. This construction makes it possible to offer a 7-year warranty on the ballistic panels, compared with the 5-year market standard.

MADE IN EUROPE

100% designed and produced in Europe: each panel is made in the manufacturer’s own factory in the Netherlands. Quality control is managed end to end, with no opaque subcontracting.
