AYCE® Placard Retention Insert

AYCE® Placard Retention Insert | HEXATAC

TheAYCE® Placard Retention Insert is the modular composite insert supplied with the AYCE® Modular Placard and the AYCE® WIDE Modular Placard. It is sold separately, without the host.

It lets you replace a worn or lost insert, or have a second pre-adjusted insert to switch from one loadout to another (for example, from 5.56 magazines to SMG magazines) without redoing your adjustments.

The modular insert consists of a main frame and dividers of two types: end dividers and center dividers. These dividers are then wrapped with One-Wrap straps that allow fine adjustment of the retention, compartment by compartment.

The insert attaches securely inside the placard with the LVMS® system, which eliminates the need for Velcro®, which is noisy, bulky, and wears out quickly.

• AYCE® WIDE Placard version : modular insert with 9 dividers and 8 hook-and-loop straps (up to 8 compartments)

AYCE® Placard host not included.

Compatibility

Possible configurations: 3 HK416, 2 HK417, or 4 UMP9 in the Standard version; 4 HK416, 3 G36, or 3 HK417 in the WIDE version. Here is the gear we have tested ourselves and the settings we recommend for each:

As a general rule, if your magazine/gear catches on the Velcro, increase the spacing of your hook-and-loop strap. And if your gear moves around at the bottom, reduce the space between the dividers.
