The EMT²® Beacon is a radio transmitter that lets you locate your teammates in real time (Blue Force Tracking), exchange AES256-encrypted messages and even share points, routes, areas, MEDEVAC requests etc.

Based on open-source Meshtastic technology, the EMT²® Beacon uses the highest-performing components on the market and offers a solution that is easily portable, easy to use, and fully standalone.

With its UBLOX positioning chip compatible with the GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo satellite systems, you can be sure to pick up multiple satellites, improving your positioning accuracy.

Using the LoRa radio protocol, the EMT²® Beacons transmit over long distances (LOS = Line of Sight) while keeping signal power within the background noise, which lets you better conceal your transmissions.

Each EMT²® Beacon relays the signals it receives like a MANET network, which makes the communication bubble more resilient and extends range to BLOS ( Beyond Line of Sight ).

Regain sovereignty over your data by using a secure open-source system that neither depends on nor requires any external infrastructure.

You can use the EMT²® Beacon on its own or connected to your phone (EUD) via ATAK.

By equipping your teammates with EMT²® Beacons, you can track their movements and exchange messages with them even if their device isn’t connected to an EUD or ATAK.

The EMT²® Beacon comes with detachable antennas (TNC radio and SMA GPS), so you can use other antennas or connect your EMT²® Beacon to a fixed installation or a vehicle.

Equipped with an IP67 waterproof USB-C port, it can be easily recharged, or you can connect the EMT²® Beacon directly to your EUD with the supplied cable.

What You Can Do with the EMT²® Beacon

With the EMT²® Beacon, you can :

• Share your position in real time within your secure network via ATAK
• Send text messages to the entire bubble over an AES256-encrypted channel via ATAK
• Send private text messages to a specific user in the bubble over an AES256-encrypted channel via ATAK
• Send messages, track teammates, and read the latest messages directly from the device
• Share points of interest, areas of concern, drawings, and routes via ATAK
• Request MEDEVACs
• Create a hybrid bubble by connecting a Wave Relay MPU5 radio via ATAK (native support)
• Sync with your EUD via Bluetooth or USB-C.

You cannot :

• Exchange text messages in a group via ATAK
• Share multimedia content (photos, video)
• Communicate by voice
