DBA SA SINGLE III++ ARMOR PLATE

Hard armor plate that protects on its own (Stand-Alone), single-curve, developed by Dutch Body Armor for multi-hit protection against rifle threats and several special threats. Made entirely of high-performance polyethylene (HPPE), it combines a weight of 1.8 kg with a profile of 26 mm (1 in) in the standard 25 × 30 cm (10 × 12 in) size.

NIJ 0101.06 LEVEL III + SPECIAL THREATS

Tested to NIJ 0101.06, the SA Single III++ is a plate rated as Stand-Alone : it delivers its full level of protection by itself, with no additional soft armor panel. It is designed to take multiple hits.

• ✔️ 7.62 × 51 mm M80 FMJ (149 gr) — the reference threat for NIJ Level III
• ✔️ 7.62 × 39 mm MSC (AK-47, mild steel core) — special threat
• ✔️ 5.56 × 45 mm SS109 (62 gr, steel penetrator) — special threat

“III++” is the manufacturer’s designation: Level III per NIJ 0101.06, supplemented by testing against special threats. It is not an official level of the NIJ standard.

LIGHTWEIGHT, THIN, MULTI-HIT

HPPE (High Performance Polyethylene) offers an excellent protection-to-weight ratio. At 1.8 kg and 26 mm (1 in) thick, the SA Single III++ fits plate carriers built for 25 × 30 cm (10 × 12 in) plates without weighing down your kit, while remaining a stand-alone solution against common rifle threats.
