We have been using rechargeable batteries for years, but for a long time we were let down by poor-quality rechargeables. It is thanks to PALE BLUE – a French-American brand, that we made peace with rechargeable batteries.
These are high-quality batteries, rechargeable via a USB-C port directly on the battery! You no longer need a dedicated charger, and there’s even an included cable with 4 USB-C plugs so you can charge all your batteries at once.
PALE BLUE rechargeable batteries are 40% lighter than traditional batteries and last more than 1,000 charge cycles!
We use them and have put them to the test in gear such as night vision devices, weapon lights, handheld flashlights, laser aiming devices, active hearing protection and even in everyday items like audio recorders, computer mice, etc., and now that’s all we use.

- Self-discharge: Pale Blue batteries have very low dormancy and self-discharge characteristics. This is one of the advantages of a lithium-ion battery with a control circuit over an alkaline or NiMH battery, where the cell discharges directly into the circuit (with no control circuit). A battery’s life in dormant mode depends partly on its environment. High ambient temperatures and high humidity increase internal discharge. But under normal conditions, a battery installed in a device such as a door lock will last about 12 months.
